Awesome Shops to get Tarot and Oracle Decks in Manila

Ever wondered where to get your Tarot and Oracle decks aside from overseas shopping sites? We shop from overseas websites due to several reasons. However, online overseas shopping has caused me a great deal of stress/anxieties due to long delivery time, possible hold at customs, lost items & high priced shipping fees. It's quite a hassle to think of it actually. That's why decided to stop looking through Etsy and Ebay listings for now, especially with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
I will not include Shopee and Lazada in this list because it is already a well-known shopping website in the Philippines. So I did more research of local metaphysical and indie shops around Metro Manila where people can get legitimate copies of Mass-produced and rare decks. I even found good news that some shops accept requests so that you can get a specific deck you want and everything will be handled by them. That is quite awesome, isn't it?

And, another blog about Filipino deck makers/artists that we need to support! Anyway, let's start with this list.
1. Fully Booked
This bookstore is a must-go branch for those who need Tarot and Oracle decks. I'd recommend you go to Fully Booked Flagship store which is at Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City because they have overwhelming array of decks and books. They mostly hold various mass-produced copies namely Wild Unknown, Llewellyn's Tarots, Doreen Virtue's Oracle decks and many more. All branches have different stocks but in case you can't find a certain deck at the branch near you but they have it at a different store, they can have the item transferred with no extra fee. They also have a section of occult books and tarot paraphernalia. In case, you can't go out, Fully Booked has a website where you can basically order and request copies then have them sent to your doorstep!
2. Artemis Paints Stillness
Aside from Fully Booked which is often my favorite go-to place for Tarot and other decks, I also love the selection provided by this new store called Artemis Paints Stillness on Shopee and Facebook shop called Stillness~. This shop caters art supplies, books and decks and will also go all their way to help you get/find the item you desire that aren't included yet in their selection. I personally love this shop for its service and prompt replies. The deck prices are also convincingly affordable, not much of a price mark-up compared to other shops that I've inquired so far but some decks may have steep prices depending on the supplier. I've ordered from them before and all I can say, overall is definitely hassle-free, good experience.
3. ScarLo Philippines
This online shop is pretty much well-known in the local tarot community. They have a business in the shopee online website that has long list of on-hand and pre-order tarot cards and oracle decks. Some decks are slightly overpriced on some decks compared to other websites but I understand that the mark-up may be due to the supplier. There's also no need to worry about items getting lost during shipment because they will be the one to handle everything for you and you'll just have to wait. One let down about this shop is that they rarely / never reply to inquiries but they do process the orders on time.
4. Practical Magic
This is an indie shop that sells tarot and astrology decks made in the Philippines. The owner of this shop is a writer and astrologer Chinggay Labrador. She already made a couple of tarot and oracle decks collaborating with other Filipino entrepreneurs as well. You will also get to buy other indie decks made by other artists in her shop. It's very interesting to see Filipinos finding their way into the occult mass market and there are a lot of foreign consumers out there enjoying these works. These decks are one of a kind and are only sold in limited numbers however, don't fret as they sometimes put out another batch pre-order every now and then depending on the demand and time.
5. RunIt Decks
This is a shop that caters to all card enthusiasts and collectors. It serves a wide variety of playing cards from different brands. Surprisingly, they also stock Tarot decks every now and then. So far, they have copies from Lo Scarabeo and US Games Systems which are pretty fair priced. What I like most about this shop is that they stock up every month with something new and also accepts overseas requests via their website. Currently, their branch at Promenade Mall, Greenhills is closed during this pandemic however you can. contact them anytime via email or in their Facebook page. They respond quickly.
6. Mind, Body and Energy
This is a wellness shop also located at 3rd Eye Building 20th Street, Taguig City. Currently, the shop is closed for the same reason as above stated but they can be contacted via their email address or phone number indicated in the website. This shop has a bunch of amazing Tarot, Oracle and Inspirational decks that are always sold out. I'm not sure how long they usually do a restock though but they do inform you when they have something new. They also have aromatherapy, crystals, meditation paraphernalia in their catalog.
7. 5D Crystal Healing
This is a shop that is specifically selling all kinds of crystals. Name it, they have it in all designs and sizes. They also stock exotic copies of Tarot cards just like Golden Botticelli Tarot and Oracle decks that are about crystals. They don't usually stock decks and put them in the website but you might get lucky to get one if you personally drop by their shop at Makati Cinema Square. In case, you live far away, you can just drop them a message via their website and they can ship the item to you.
8. ACSC Trading
This is shopee business that sells secondhand and brandnew tarot and oracle decks. Most decks being sold are mass-produced and are quite overpriced compared to other shops that sell the same decks. However, there are some decks that you might find interesting here. Aside from cards, they also sell occult, educational and literature books. They have a facebook page called Tarot decks for sale in Manila that is usually being updated in case they have new arrivals.
9. Quarks and Quills
This is an online shop found in Lazada. They specialize in selling magazines, children's books and Tarot decks. This is a good place to buy decks if you are already desperate enough to get a copy of a sold-out deck at Fully Booked. They have mass produced titles coming from Llewellyn and Lo Scarabeo however, just like ACSC Trading, They are selling them for a very steep price (twice the cost as the original price). It's up to you if you ever want to buy here.
10. Carousell
Ofcourse I won't leave out the most affordable, local place where you can get your tarot and oracle decks. I will put this as a bonus because this is not a local shop but an online local selling site. For those who doesn't know yet, Carousell was known as OLX that provides an online selling platform for used and brand new items. All you just need to do is to type the word "tarot" and it will give you the listings. It is a legitimate website and I found quite a few interesting rare decks from there. So if ever you're interested, check it out however be a responsible buyer, read descriptions carefully and expect what you get from it.
So far these are the shops/ stores where you can buy some great selections of tarot and oracle cards in Metro Manila. I hope this blog is helpful. There might be some bookstores especially the secondhand underground ones that may have them too but I'm not pretty sure where to find them exactly. Honestly, it's quite a jackpot if you got one from those kind of stores for a fair price.
